Instructions for submission
Before submitting an extended abstract, you are kindly requested to read the
instructions given below.
- One of the sample templates given here
must be used.
- In order to ensure publication on the
CD-ROM, authors should submit their
papers by email to
3cmia@cigeo.edu.ni
as MS Word or OOo files (please do not send as
PDF). The filename should
contain the name of the first author (e.g. “Perez.doc”)
- Extended abstracts must be 4 pages (A4) in length including text and figures.
- The text should contain about 1000 words and be illustrated with appropriate
figures supporting the key message of the paper.
- The abstract must be clearly typed, using the template form. Do not type the
text in columns. Do not frame the text.
- Figures included in the document must also be provided as separate files
in formats such as TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PSD, VSG, or PNG. Please make sure the filenames
contain author and figure number, as well as format information (e.g.
“Perez_fig1.png”).
Authors should indicate their preference for presenting their paper either as an
oral or a poster presentation.
